GTIA Spotlight Awards 2026: Astris CSP, Highly Commended
The Global Technology Industry Association has named Astris CSP Highly Commended in the IT Service Provider Award at the 2026 GTIA Spotlight Awards. We are quietly proud of it, and equally aware that a plaque is the least interesting part of what it represents.
What the recognition is
GTIA is the trade body for the world’s IT channel, the association that sets much of the professional standard for how managed service providers operate. Its Spotlight Awards recognise the strongest firms in the channel, and the IT Service Provider category looks at the substance of the work: how a firm secures its clients, runs its operations, and stands behind the service it sells. Highly Commended places Astris CSP among the strongest firms assessed this year, a tier below the category winner and well clear of the field.
Why it matters more to you than to us
Our clients make a living from judging risk. The wealth managers, family offices, trust companies and law firms we serve are rightly sceptical of anyone who grades their own homework. That is exactly why third-party recognition is worth more than any claim we could make about ourselves. It is one thing for a provider to say its controls are sound; it is another for an independent industry body to look at the operation and reach the same conclusion.
Nothing about our service changed the day this arrived. The recognition simply confirms, from the outside, the operating discipline our clients already rely on: the monitoring that runs whether or not anything is wrong, the incident planning that assumes something eventually will be, and the plain refusal to treat security as a line item. When your custodians and administrators tighten their own diligence, the question they put to your providers is whether the rigour is real. This is one more piece of evidence that ours is.
What it does not change
Being Highly Commended is a pleasant confirmation, not a finish line. The threats our clients face do not read award citations, and the only recognition that ultimately counts is a client whose office was not the one that made the news. We will keep the plaque somewhere modest, and get back to the work that earned it.
